Upon installing Kick The Buddy on my POCO F5, I immediately appreciated its fluid physics. I spent a good while just throwing Buddy back and forth across the screen to see how he bounced off the box's walls. In the first few rounds, I used the newly unlocked grenades to see the effect of the explosion and, sure enough, the character's response was as comical as it was gory. I found it to be an ideal game for switching off my brain for a few minutes; it is visually very colorful, and the sounds Buddy makes give it a touch of humor that prevents the game from feeling too aggressive.

What I liked most about Kick The Buddy and what could be improved

• What I liked the most: the huge variety of weapons and items available, which makes you want to save coins so you can see what the next item does.

• What could be improved: the amount of advertising that appears between menus can be intrusive if you don't buy the ad-free version. On the other hand, the price of some premium items is a bit high.
